When dramatic events feel like they upend our lives, or when our ‘normal’ day-to-day lives wear on us enough, it can sometimes feel like we are doing everything we can just to make it through the day. Whether the focus is on the anxiety of “what’s going to happen next?”, the challenging process of mustering up the motivation to do “the stuff I am supposed to do”, the pain of moving forward in life after traumatic experiences or feeling as though “I don’t know what to do next” – moving forward in life can be a struggle.

These challenges are natural. These challenges are normal. What’s more – you don’t have to face down these challenges alone.

My name is Justin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Ammirati Counseling. I have the distinct privilege of working with folks seeking to come up with ways of adapting to their struggles in life in ways that promote their goals, direction and fulfillment.

Counseling, and the course it takes, is as unique as the people who participate in it – and each person’s needs will be slightly or significantly different from the last. With this in mind, I emphasize establishing a partnership with my clients where we work together in identifying what has led to the present moment, how they would like things to be different and how we might collaborate in order to get you there. My clients are the ones driving the car and I am the navigator; you tell me where you want to go and I suggest routes to getting there.

If traveling the path to fulfillment is what you are seeking, I welcome you to take this step and connect with us at Ammirati Counseling. Making peace with your anger, moving forward from traumatic experiences, learning to cope with anxieties, emerging from a depressive period and having more satisfying relationships is possible – let’s find the route to that destination together!
