Licensed Professional Counselor & Art Therapist

Clinical Specialties:

Life Transitions

Hi, I’m Claire Reiser! I work with teens, young adults, and adult women, and I want you to feel truly safe and supported—that’s the key for therapy to be effective.

Life can be hard, and no matter who you are, it often feels even harder when you feel alone. I hope to be a listening ear—a place where clients can feel a little less lonely and a little more connected in the world.

I approach my work with compassion, empathy, and the occasional sarcastic remark to bring a little laughter into the process.

My Approach as a Therapist

I take a person-centered approach, collaborating with clients to create meaningful goals. I draw from a combination of CBT, DBT, and ACT to support each individual’s journey.

My aim is to hold a warm and open space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions, thoughts, and actions more deeply, helping them discover more and more about themselves along the way.

How I Can Help You

I have experience in a variety of settings, including Intensive Outpatient Program, residential living, and outpatient therapies. As a result, I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I prioritize a collaborative approach, letting clients guide the work based on their needs.

As an art therapist, I also integrate creative expression into the therapy process. I utilize different forms of creating art to complement traditional talk therapy. Using paint, clay, crayons, pencils, pastels, and more, can aid in emotional regulation while building our therapeutic space and working toward the client’s personal goals.
